2017 Booklist

The resources and booklist for all subjects, for Years 7 -10 for 2017 are now available.

A PDF of the booklist for the appropriate year level has been emailed to parents and students this week. This information is also available via a link on the College website http://www.live.salesian.vic.edu.au/learning/booklist/ along with further information.

Orders must be done online at www.campion.com.au (code VS3V)  by the 2 December 2016 to ensure availability prior to the start of the academic year.

Do I have to purchase books from the supplier Campion?

No, you do not have to purchase books from the supplier Campion, however please be aware that some items are available only through Campion. Please refer to the full booklist online at Campion or refer to the PDF booklists emailed to parents and students prior to purchasing items independently.

Do I have to purchase everything on the booklist?

Some Books/Resources are only available through Campion Items such as e-book bundles, Study Skills books (Year 7 & 8), the Edrolo VCE online resources, the Performing Arts Music Theory Book (Year 7) are available ONLY through Campion. You must purchase these items through Campion. Depending on what year level your son is in he may have elective subjects. You are only required to purchase items for the subjects that your son is studying or has chosen as part of his electives.

In Year 7 all subjects on the booklist are compulsory for all students.

For Years 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12 students, your son will have already (or will in the coming days) received confirmation of his 2017 subjects. Please order books and resources relevant only to the subjects your son is enrolled in.

Some items such as text books and subject specific items (e.g. calculators, safety glasses, earmuffs, headphones etc) are absolutely necessary for your son to be able to effectively study at Salesian College. You must purchase these items but may order through Campion or an alternative supplier.

General Stationary Items

Use the booklist as a guide for general stationary type items such as blank books and pens for note taking etc. which can be purchased through Campion or other suppliers

Salesian College does not provide a second-hand book service. In order to purchase second hand textbooks families may wish to investigate the  possibility of using  the services of www.sustainableschoolshop.com.au
