As part of the 2014 Years 10/11 Business Management course, we were set the task to design, organize and run a small business that not only made a profit, but was also ethical and socially responsible.
Across the three Business Management classes there was a wide range of business concepts, such as food stalls and sporting competitions.
In collaboration with the other Business Management classes, we were able to make a profit of $518.
This money was then donated to charities which the College was sponsoring. At the end of Term 1, $123 was donated to Project Compassion. This term the remaining $375 was used to buy blankets and toiletries for the Vinnies Winter Appeal.
