Fr Provincial’s Visit

On Monday 21 July, Fr Greg Chambers S.D.B. the Provincial Leader of the Salesians in Australia and the Pacific (and A Past Pupil of the College), arrived to spend some time with the Salesian Community and to visit the College. On Wednesday he had the opportunity to meet with Mr Rob Brennan and chat about the College and the plans for development. Fr Greg was particularly interested in the response of students to the facilities in the Science Classrooms and he showed great interest in the range of achievements in the variety of learning opportunities offered both in the classrooms and beyond. That Salesian College continues the mission of Don Bosco to lead young people through formative learning to become active and responsible citizens contributing to the betterment of society in a way that reflect the values of our Christian Tradition, is what he wants to see. After his visit Fr Greg felt assured that Salesian College is well set in the “Way of Don Bosco”.
