Hello Parents this is the final newsletter for the 2013 year. There are still 2 events before our year ends. We welcome any support or help that families can provide.
Morning tea for teachers and support staff – 11:00am Monday 9 December
A Thankyou morning tea for the Salesian teachers and support staff will be held 11:00am on Monday 9 December. Help is required on the day of the morning tea to provide set up and serve morning tea. If you could provide a plate please organise to drop off at reception on the Monday morning. This is a wonderful opportunity to show our appreciation for all the hard work, commitment and effort that the teachers and support staff provide to educate our boys.
Parents’ Association Christmas break-up/social gathering – Monday 9 December
Come along and join us for some Christmas cheer as we celebrate the year that has been. Instead of our usual meeting we invite you to join us in the Bosco Plaza (weather permitting, alternately in the staffroom) from 7:00pm on Monday 9 December, 2013. You are welcome to bring a savoury or sweet plate to share, drinks will be provided. All welcome.
Thank You Jill Ross
The Salesian Parents Association would like to thank Jill Ross who will be leaving the Salesian community this year as her last son Tom has finished Year 12. During the time Jill has had her boys at Salesian she has held positions on the committee and was the President for a number of years. Jill has volunteered many many hours and has been a tireless advocate of the Parents association, a brilliant leader, mentor and wonderful friend to all. We wish Jill and her husband Tim all the best.
President – Denise Forster
Vice President – Sally Marshall
Secretary – Gerry Patterson
To the wonderful parents and families who continue to support the Parents Association we thank. Your volunteering of your time and effort that you make available to is very much appreciated. Without your assistance we would be unable to assist the college in the way that we do. We look forward to seeing you all in 2014 for another great year.
