Mother’s Day Mass & Breakfast Thank You
Thank-you to all our volunteers who helped at the Mother’s Day Mass & Breakfast. Following a lovely Mass, mums and their sons enjoyed a delicious light breakfast in the Hall. The PA would like to thank everyone involved, with special mention to Kate Craven (Ferntree Gully Baker’s Delight) for all the wonderful pastries, the Scalise family for their generous donation of fruit, Barb and Lores for the superb muesli/yoghurt/berry cups and assisting with supplies for the day, Dennis and the ever-helpful maintenance team, along with Suzie McErvale, Mary Menz, Gabrielle Dalton and Nadia Knight for their organisational and promotional involvement for the event.
The new Entertainment books are now available for sale. The new book is only $65.00 and is filled with $15,000 worth of valuable offers which are valid until June 2014. If you are interested in purchasing or reserving one of these books please email firstname.lastname@example.org or contact Amor (Finance Officer) in the School Office.
The Parent’s Association are delighted to be assisting two fine young Year 12 boys who have decided to celebrate the end of their secondary education by going to Cambodia and assisting in the building of a house. We would encourage you all to get on board and help the boys raise much needed funds for this project. Get in early and reserve a table or donate an auction item (e.g. Sporting goods, restaurant vouchers, overnight accommodation, wine pack, or movie tickets – the list is endless!).
A sub-committee for the Trivia night will meet at the Pancake Parlour, Warrigal Road on Monday evening (May 20th) from 7:30pm. Feel free to join us – any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Our annual chocolate drive will be run over the next few weeks. Check your son’s school bag for the flyer. This activity will run in the same way as last year whereby you have the opportunity to purchase a box of chocolates or alternately you may wish to not purchase the chocolates and instead donate the profit margin to Salesian College.
Our next meeting is 7:00pm Tuesday 11 June, in the Conference room. All very welcome.
Thank you for your support.
