Pathways Parent Information Evening

On Wednesday 27 August a Pathways Parent Information evening was held for prospective students wishing to gain a better insight into the Pathways Program. Over 40 people attended this gathering and listened to presenters Kim Beurs (VCE Co-Ordinator) and Paula Hanley (Pathways Program Mentor) discussed the finer points of this exciting program. The Pathways Programs offers an alternative to the mainstream curriculum approach and focuses more on harnessing and enhancing our applied learners talents and skills. It also incorporates a TAFE and Work Experience component. The program can only allow for a small number of students to ensure every boy receives the individual support he requires. Steven Loonstra, the (Mannix Campus Co-Ordinator) concluded the evening by requesting that expressions of interest for the programs should be emailed to him as soon as possible. Entry to this program will be determined by an interview process to ensure the most suitable candidates are given a place in the 2015 Pathways Program.
