Year 10

Volleyball A’s lost this week by a small margin.

Volleyball B’s won their match against St Bede’s.

Cricket was played against St Bede’s, and the game came down to the wire with the boys needing 10 runs to win the game. Unfortunately, they fell short.

We also had an unfortunate loss in Tennis.

Year 9

Volleyball A’s continued their great form, winning once again.

Volleyball B’s unfortunately had a loss.

Year 9 Cricket produced one of Salesian’s great sporting moments this week. The team was set a huge target by St Bernard’s College. Joe Papalia retired on 40 runs, and awaited his return, which would be needed if the team was down 9 wickets. When this occurred, Joe returned to the crease where he put on a batting masterclass, leading the team to victory and a top score of 106 runs!

Year 9 Tennis unfortunately had a loss.

Year 8

Volleyball A’s & B’s both had a loss.

Tennis also had a loss.

Year 8 Cricket lost in a tough match against St Bedes.

Year 7

Volleyball A & B’s had a loss by 1 set, with the points difference being minimal.

Tennis are yet to have a win this season.

Cricket also were unfortunate this week.
