Salesian College House Athletics Carnival

On Tuesday 21 February, Salesian College ran the annual House Athletics Carnival at Bill Sewart Athletics Track.
This year the weather was exceptional, and the boys participated in all the events to the best of their ability.
It was also the debut of the Salesian Stall Gift race, where the quickest boys from each year level ran off a handicap to ensure a close race finish.
The final results of the carnival were as follows:

1. Collinson: 1062
2. Savio: 875
3. Annecy: 804
4. Moroney: 744

Congratulations to Collinson for winning the Athletics Carnival for the 9th year in a row.

ACC Swimming Carnival

On Friday 24 February, Salesian competed in the ACC Swimming Carnival.
All the boys swam terrifically, with most finishing in the top four in every race.
A few standouts were Kieran Roach (Swimming Captain), Nathan Toward (Swimming Vice-Captain) & Young swimmer Nathan Chan-Yam who won 6 out of 6 races on the night.
We are very proud to announce that Salesian won the following:
• U/13 Age Group
• U/14 Age Group
• Senior Age Group
• Junior Cup
• Senior Cup
• Division 2 Championship Cup

Congratulations on the Division 2 title! We will now compete in Division 1 next year.
We have not won the title for 12 years, since 2005.
