Sports Presentation Night – featuring Nate Tomlinson, Massimo Murdocca and Trent Cotchin

We were again fortunate to have three elite sportsman present at our Sports Presentation Night – from the AFL; Richmond Captain Trent Cotchin, an All Australian Player, youngest player to receive best and fairest three times at Richmond and runner up Brownlow in 2012, as well as having another great year in 2014. Massimo Murdocca, Melbourne city soccer club, two-time premiership player at Brisbane Roar, Under 23 Australia International team. We also had Melbourne United basketball player, Nate Tomlinson, Under 21 Australian International team as well as playing at University of Colorado in his junior years. The question and answer section was fantastic we got a frank insight into life as a professional sportsman. We would like to thank our interviewers; Chris Ryan and Napoleon Rodezno.

This night is to recognise contributions of our students to ACC sport; best players are recognised as well as players important to the team, plus the best sportsman of each year level. We congratulate all boys who represent the college at ACC level in 2014. Our goal is to be competitive in all sports and see improvement across the board. We achieved this, this year, competing in many finals across a range of sports. The turn out on presentation night was the largest crowd that we have ever had, I would like to thank all parents and students who were present, as without your support, the night would not have been the success that it was. A big thankyou to the coaches who gave up their time throughout the year, we look forward to 2015 with added enthusiasm and hopefully even more success.
