ACC Intermediate Badminton

On 19 May, Salesian College Chadstone participated in the ACC Intermediate Badminton Competition at MSAC.
The boys were very successful winning the overall title and becoming 2015 Champions.

ACC Sport Update


Year 7 Football
The 7 football team played in a close one with St Bernard’s and came out winners, continuing their unbeaten season.
This week they play Parade College and are looking to continue their great form.

Year 7 Soccer
The Year 7 A team went down 5-1 last week against St Bedes College.
After a hard fought first half they struggled to back it up in the second.
This week the 7A side played against De La Salle and came out with a 1-1 draw.

The Year 7 B team had their first win last week against Parade Preston.
This is a great result as the boys have been training hard to get a win all season.
The boys have a bye this week but next week face De La Salle.

Year 8 Football
The year 8 football team has continued their impressive form staying unbeaten.
They had a hard fought battle in their last game with CBC St Kilda, winning by 1 point.

Year 8 Soccer
The Year 8 Soccer A’s grabbed their first win of the season winning 5-0 against Simonds.
They played outstanding and showed great passion on the field.

The Year 8 B’s were unlucky again this week losing 2-1 to Parade College.
Next week the team has a bye.


Year 9 Football
The team had a bye this week.
Next week they play against Mazenod College.
The team is still unbeaten.

Year 9 Soccer
The Year 9 boys had a tough week at the office losing to St Bedes.
The team has moved on to focus on a big game against rivals Mazenod College next week.

Year 10 Football
The Year 10 had another big win this week against Parade College.
The win has secured the team a home grand final next week on 2 June at 1:30pm.

Year 10 Soccer
The boys played off in a semi-final against St Bernard’s this week.
After being down 1-0 at half time, the team unified to score three goals becoming eventual winners 3-1 and booking a grand final match against rivals Mazenod College.
The final will be played on 2 June at Mazenod College with a 1:30pm start.

Senior Football
The Senior football side played their last game of the season this week.
The boys lost their final game but have represented the college very well throughout the season.

Senior Seconds Soccer
The Senior Seconds also played their last game of the term this week and were very unfortunate to go down 3-2.
We would also like to thank these boys for representing the college well throughout the whole season.

Senior Soccer
The Biggest game of the week was the semi-final between Salesian College and Mazenod college.
The two sides played out an epic match. The match was decided in the second half of extra time after the game was tied 3-3 in regular time.
The winner came with about 4 minutes left in the game.
The 4-3 win has now booked a Grand Final against St Bernard’s college on 3 June at Veneto Club Bulleen, Kick-off 1:30pm.
