St Vinnie’s Winter Sleep Out
This term we are organising a unique experience to broaden our understanding of homelessness and poverty, as part of our Term Two social justice focus on the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal.
On Friday 23 June to Saturday 24 June, Salesian College will host a ‘Sleep Out’ at our Mannix Campus where students will have the chance to participate in awareness activities, share a basic meal and undertake in a ‘Sleep Out’ experience. The ‘sleep out’ experience will run for one hour outside, to share and hopefully understand the perils of homelessness.
The ‘Sleep Out’ is an overnight event, and is a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness surrounding the issues of homelessness and poverty.
This opportunity is open to all year levels and is fully supervised by our staff volunteers. If any students are interested in this event, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
For those students who have already taken forms home, please return these forms to me if you have not already done so.

Social Justice Coordinator
