Thank you Morning Tea for Staff
On Friday 31 October – World Teachers Day, the Parents Association in conjunction with Salesian Parents held the Annual Thank you Morning Tea for Teachers and Staff. What talented cooks there are in our community! The Salesian Parents provided an array of fabulous goodies – Nandos, cakes, chocolates, biscuits, slices, sandwiches, cheese, juice; the list goes on. It was a fabulous spread as you can see from the photos. A large number of parents also volunteered their time to help on the day. These parents not only set up and cleaned up, but they served in the canteen to ensure Barb and Lores also joined the morning tea. The morning tea was for all teachers, office and admin staff, canteen and maintenance staff. It truly was an overwhelming response of generosity from all Salesian parents supporting the morning tea. It was truly a wonderful effort from all parents. The morning was full of laughter and banter amongst the parents and the staff.
I would once again like to take the opportunity to thank all the Staff at Salesian on behalf of the parents. They provide a wonderful education for our boys. The time, effort, guidance and mentoring they provide ensures our boys succeed not only in their education but also in being good citizens. The success of the teaching staff and extended staff at Salesian is evident by the wonderful young men that continue to amaze us with their grand speeches on behalf of their peers on Valedictory day.
Please remember to take a peak at the Parents Association page on Salesian Live to keep up with what is going on.
