Writers – great opportunity!
This year, for the first time, Salesian College is giving boys the opportunity to submit work for publication in an anthology that combines writing and artwork from 17 Catholic schools across Victoria.
Boys are able to write in any form on the theme of “Nothing is impossible”. They may choose to use personal experience, to write creatively or in any other form and style they wish, including poetry.
Students are encouraged to use English teachers to help shape and draft their pieces and should submit their work in final form to minimise editing and proof reading.
Students should submit work no later than Friday 25 July. There will be more details to follow.
Pieces are to be typed in 12 point Times New Roman.
In the event that more pieces than space available are received, the Head of English will make a decision as to which pieces will be sent to the publisher.
There are copies of previous anthologies in the RUA Resource Centre for viewing.
